Cranberries are a very traditional flavor for the fall and winter and for the holiday season. You might find, though, that you'd like some variety from the usual cranberry sauce and sweet cranberry recipes. So, I decided to put together a list of some savory cranberry recipes for a twist on the typical cranberry flavors.
This list includes recipes for main dishes and side dishes as well as appetizers and dips, and these savory cranberry recipes are a perfect way to use up leftover cranberries or cranberry sauce from the holidays.
These recipes are ones that I think can work well with a "real food" type of diet and for cooking from scratch. There might be a few cases when you might want to make a substitution based on your preference for ingredients, but these are recipes that I think would be easy to adapt in those situations.
I hope you enjoy looking through these recipes, and maybe you'll find some new favorites to add some variety to your holiday table this season.

WOW! I think you have outdone yourself with all of these delicious recipes!!! I will have to try some throughout the year. I have had two of them, kale salad with cranberries and turkey sliders with cranberries. Thing is with whole cranberries is they can be tart, sweet or anywhere in between. the recipes with rosemary and brie (savory) sound really good! "Happy Thanksgiving all the year!" Thanks for making me hungry...

I was glad to be able to find so many good looking recipes! I asked some fellow bloggers to share some recipes with me, and they shared some great ones! Cranberries can definitely be both tart and sweet, and I think they're a nice flavor to have any time of the year even though they're more seasonal right now. Haha, I know, it's hard not to feel hungry looking at recipes! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
