Antique Lamp, Jar, Recipe Book, and Pantry Boxes on Table with title "Old-Fashioned Friday."

Hi, everyone! I want to let you all know about a NEW change I'm starting this week. From now on, Old-Fashioned Friday will no longer be held as a link-up party here on the blog. Instead, I'm going to be opening up my Old-Fashioned Friday Pinterest board as a group board so you all can pin your posts directly there.

I think this will be better for all of us for a couple of reasons:

1) I think it will be easier and simpler to use Pinterest than to use the link-up method. It's easier for me and it saves me some time because I don't have to set up the post and the link-up party each week, and it's easier for all of you because all you have to do is click once to pin your post onto the group board rather than uploading your post and picture to the link-up party and linking back to your blog, etc.

2) It will allow even more people to see your posts and benefit from them. Since Pinterest has been having a pretty good reach for me lately, when you pin your posts to the Old-Fashioned Friday group board, more people will be able to see those posts and it will be easier for them to share those posts with others on their own Pinterest boards.

I want to thank all of you who have participated so faithfully in Old-Fashioned Friday each week and I'm looking forward to staying in touch with you all through Pinterest and reading your posts!

How to Join the Group Board:

Ok, here's what to do if you'd like to become a contributor to the Old-Fashioned Friday Pinterest board.

1) Make sure you're following me on Pinterest if you aren't already.(Pinterest won't let me send you an invite to join the board if you aren't following me.)

2) Send me an email using the form on the "Contact" page with your Pinterest name and the email address you use for your Pinterest account so I can send you the invite.

If you have any questions, just let me know! 🙂
